Frequently asked questions
about our WMS for 3PL

What the warehouse management system covers, which webshops and delivery services it connects, what the mobile scanner needs and how billing your 3PL clients works. If your question is not here, ask us directly.

The basics: what Fulfillment App is

Fulfillment App is a cloud warehouse management system (WMS) built for 3PL providers and fulfillment centers. It covers the whole dispatch path: order import from webshops, picking with a mobile scanner, scan-and-go packing validation, courier labels, returns and automated billing for each of your clients. It is part of the MetaKocka platform, which merchants have trusted for 17 years.
For 3PL providers, fulfillment centers and warehouses that dispatch for more than one client. Warehouses that dispatch only their own goods use it too, but what separates Fulfillment App from an ordinary WMS matters most when you work for others: separate client profiles, a price list per client and automated 3PL billing.
No. Both the desktop dashboard and the mobile warehouse app run in the browser. The operator opens a link and logs in, updates roll out to every device at once, and your IT team maintains nothing.
Yes, the system is multi-client by design. Every client has their own stock, their own bin locations, their own delivery services, their own warehouse method (FIFO, or FIFO and FEFO) and their own price list for billing. The packing line and the team stay the same no matter how many clients you take on, and no client can see another client's data.

Daily work in the warehouse

Any modern Android device. For intensive work we recommend Zebra industrial terminals (for example TC21/TC26) or Honeywell models with a built-in laser scanner, while for smaller volumes a smartphone paired with a bluetooth barcode scanner is enough. We are happy to advise you on choosing and procuring the equipment. More on the mobile scanner page.
Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, OpenCart, Shopamine and CS-Cart, plus marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, mimovrste and Temu. Anything that is not on the list can be connected over a REST API. See the e-commerce integrations page for the full picture.
More than 100 across Europe, from GLS, DPD, DHL, Pošta Slovenije and Express One to local carriers in individual markets. You connect each one once. After that the system picks the courier by your rules, prints the label and tracks the parcel through to final delivery, returns included. The full list is on the delivery services page.
You set up a price list for each client with services, prices and VAT rates. Through the month the system records every service performed on its own, and at the end of the month you create the billing for all clients with a single click and send the invoices electronically. No adding up in Excel. More on the fulfillment billing page.

Migration, security and getting started

Yes. The transition is gradual and planned: your warehouse keeps dispatching while we migrate it. You get a clear plan, local support and onboarding adapted to your shelves, zones and equipment. See implementation and onboarding.
Data is stored in a GDPR-compliant cloud environment in the EU, communication runs over encrypted connections and access is limited by role, so every client sees only their own data. Backups run regularly and system availability is 99.9%. Details on the security and SLA page.
Book a demo and we will walk through your dispatch process together, or start a free trial. If you send us your floor plan and your daily volume, we will prepare a precise ROI analysis and an equipment proposal for your packing floor.
